Whew! I was worried earlier I would have to wait out a 1-1 game in extra innings. Then it looked like a 6-6 game in extras was possible. Way to hang in there, Redlegs!

Another great win. I tuned in during the bottom of the 7th, right after BP made a baserunning blunder. Just in time to see Bruce get walked & Gomes' HR.

Gomes has been red hot & his attitude has been contagious.

Surely I'm not the only one who thinks Coffey hit Stubbs intentionally? A little disappointed that somebody didn't get the Brewers back, but there's always tomorrow.

No, you aren't. That was as obvious as the day is long.

These guys are flat out fun to watch right now...

The Reds signed Cuban outfielder Felix Perez to a minor league deal today.

Apparently the Yankees signed Perez to a $3.5 million deal previously, but the deal was nixed by the MLB when it was discovered that Perez lied about his age. At that time, he said he was 20.

As it turns out, Perez is actually 25 & the Reds signed him for $550,000. Apparently he's another "5 tool player."
