Players, especially Rolen, need days off..

I understand days off for the older guys and getting guys ABs but what does that have to do with batting Heisey leadoff and Cabrera 5th?

Homer takes advantage of facing the bottom of the order, quick 2nd that he needed

Heisey leads off because of his speed, payed off when he scored on Gomes double

This time was okay but isn't the reason Dusty took Stubbs out of the leadoff spot was to take the pressure off of him. When a guy like Cabrera is doing a good job at the top why mess with it? It is the same old thing with Dusty. He can't stand it when he is not tinkering with the batting order. Guys like to be in a spot in the order and get comfortable there but Dusty seems to always find a way to screw with things.

Weeks hit by pitch to start the inning, thrown out stealing second, big time play

:scared:

Bailey had a 30 pitch 1st inning, so he has bounced back nicely

Gomes is RED HOT right now. Cabrera getting a 2nd chance to drive in some runs here. Reds really making Parra work.
