Shooting Guard for you NBA team.

If we're talking about 5-7 years, I'm taking Wade over Kobe based on age.

Personally I think Evans loses value as a 2. 26% from the arc doesn't really float my boat.

I would take Kobe. As already mentioned, he has the best overall game of any 2 in the NBA.

It would seem that a big quality you want a shooting guard to have is the ability to make 3 pointers.

Don't you think that might go up? Wade is now above 30%, but when he came in he was terrible from the 3pt. line. I think his rookie year he only hit 19 3's all season. He probably won't ever be deadly, but he'll get better as he gets older.

I forgot to say this earlier, but this was a cool idea LBBC. :thumb:

I can only hope it will get better, only time will tell.

Durant.

Durant.

I think most were putting him as a 3. But, it's your team :thumb:.

Interesting that if you put Durant as a 3, then you will have a fun pick between Durant and Lebron at 3.

But that is for the next thread. :D

I figured he was more of a 3 than a 1 or a 2.

Changed my mind here. Hey, it's my thread and I am a LADIES bball coach and claim the right to change my mind.:D

PG Rondo

SG LeBron

Those picking Kobe for the next five to seven years are wearing blinders. This guy is clearly slowing down, is he awesome, yes, is it likely he will continue to wear down and not be the player he once was, count on it.

Having said that I took Paul as my PG and though Wade would be the best two gaurd in my opinion for my team I want Brandon Roy.

5 years from now I think Kobe will be just as healthy as DWade or Roy. Wade's game is going to go alot quicker than Kobe's IMO. Jordan was good at 36 and he took a year and 1/2 off. Kobe could do the same. I know he's played more games, but with the advances in health and nutrition, I don't see why he couldn't be effective that late in his career. He really doesn't rely on athleticism anyway and as long as he has Gasol and Bynum (who is going to continue to get better if his health doesn't fail him), he's not going to have a heavy work load in the regular season. JMO

Remember DWade is going on 29, and at least half of his game is athleticism. Kobe's 31 and relies on smarts and a filthy jumper.

SG Kobe because we are going to run the triangle on my team.

While we are talking about health, I think that could be an issue for Lebron at some point down the road with the style of play he currently has.
