MCPapa...just got back from Lexington and travelled 68. Its clear thru to Paris...as for the Paris to Georgetown trip I don't know. Going to try to post a pic of the area close to Morehead WalMart from Sunday.

I checked the DOT website and also called the 511 number. They are reporting no current problems on 68. If further rain holds off, we will travel to G'town "the old-fashioned way" this evening.:thumb:

Hard to imagine all this water and how many people in so many states are affected.

In the last 18 months, school has been closed due to: wind, snow, ice, and now rain. Mother Nature can't throw too many other disasters our way! Hope not to find out!

My thoughts are with all those affected by these recent storms. Hang in there and be safe!

For those of you that enjoy Nashville and the Opryland Hotel, parts of the hotel have 6 feet of water. Much of downtown is underwater, including part of 2nd Avenue and Broadway. Water is surrounding LP Field and nobody seems to know for sure about the Titans' practice facility--although that whole area is shut down.

Water is now in the Bridgestone Arena--formerly Gaylord Entertainment Center. LP Field is also under water. I'm not sure if the river has crested yet or not. Last I heard, they were expecting it to crest this afternoon. Unbelievable.

The AP is now reporting the Grand Ole Opry House has flooded. :cry:

The flooding in Frankfort is pretty bad also.. I'll try to upload some pics.

Here are a few pics from the flooding in Frankfort. You'll see in one of the pictures that the river is up over the foot bridge. I don't remember a time it being that high.

Supposedly the Kentucky River has crested at the Frankfort locks at 42.57 feet this afternoon. Flood Stage is 31 feet.

Just got back from the Boston area in western Nelson County. It's pretty overwhelming seeing how much water is there.
