I would attend none, but I also don't care much for basketball across the board so I think my opinion may not be worth noting.

It's not a college basketball state, it's a basketball state. I would be shocked if people wouldn't be extremely interested in having an NBA franchise in the state.

 

I agree. Look at OKC, you wouldn't think of them as a huge market either, but they succeed. It depends on the players they get and how the team does IMO.

As I said in my initial post, if it were in the Cincy area, I'd be very intrigued in season tickets. Being an hour and a half away in a city I can't stand to set foot in, is the only reason I wouldn't attend. If it were in Lexington, I'd probably make it to a couple games.

 

Cincinnati has many of the same issues. They'd be drawing from the same people who go to X, UC, UD, Miami, NKU, UK and UofL games, and I don't think the market can support it.

Those of you who live in NoKy and say you would travel regularly to L'ville for games (and vise-versa), I have to ask: How many Pacers games are you going to per year? It's not that much further to go to Indy from the I-71 corridor than it is to go from Covington to L'ville (or vise-versa).

I be shocked if that interest was still there after two years. I think at first there would be interest, because its something new. However after a year or two, IMO the interest would go way down.

I would be more likely to save up & go to 1 or 2 games per year with good seats.

I live nearly 3 hours away from Louisville, but I'd vernture out 2 or 3 times a year depending on who they're playing, maybe more.
