April 1, 201016 yr I saw this a little earlier today. Someone please tell me this is an April Fools joke! :ohbrother: So funny considering he was trying so hard to sound well informed. :lol: Don't know about him, but my post was indeed an April fools joke. I hope no one tuned in to Fox.
April 1, 201016 yr Johnson subsequently released a statement saying that he “wasn’t suggesting that the island of Guam would literally tip over,” but was using a “metaphor” about its “fragile ecosystem” and “overstressed infrastructure.” Really guys - don't take everything at face value. What the 'moley' as my 9 year old would say.

What the 'moley' as my 9 year old would say. I am sure he did (Johnson).:lol::lol::lol: Who voted for this Tool.

April 1, 201016 yr Fox News just had a Breaking Story. Guam tilted 35 degrees today and is expected to fully flip over in the next 72 hours. Evacuation has began. :clap:
April 1, 201016 yr So much for hoping that those that voted for it made a well informed decision. He makes $174,000 a year and will draw a pension for life if he is booted. Him voting for Obamacare is better than the deceased and cartoon characters voting for Obama, right?:sssh:
April 1, 201016 yr It has more to with with the fact that this guy's "good judgement and intelligence" helped make a decision of the magnitude of Obamacare that will have an effect on every one of us. Even disregarding that I now know that it was a metaphor, this is a two way street. The republicans have their less than stellar light bulbs, too.
April 1, 201016 yr Even disregarding that I now know that it was a metaphor, this is a two way street. The republicans have their less than stellar light bulbs, too. Are you saying that you believe that it was really a metaphor and he somehow was using the phrase "tip over" to mean something about the environment? If so, wow, just wow.
April 1, 201016 yr Author It's amazing that his "clarification" only came AFTER this clip started being disseminated. You'll excuse me if I take his explaination with a HUGE grain of salt.

I didn't when I first watched it. I didn't when Acemona said it. However, when I went back and watched again, including the response from everyone else in the video 9or lack thereof) and what he said afterward, I can see it.

Please say yes...:lol::lol::lol::lol:
April 1, 201016 yr Remember, this is the same guy that said people will put on "white hoods and ride through the countryside" if racist attitudes like Rep. Joe Wilson's, aren't rebuked.
April 2, 201016 yr Remember, this is the same guy that said people will put on "white hoods and ride through the countryside" if racist attitudes like Rep. Joe Wilson's, aren't rebuked. As if that hasn't happened before .
