I was glad to see Polson get the ovation he got when he came out of the game. He's a special player. I'll miss watching him play.

I agree. Solid team, great point guard and they should be in the final game easily, IMO.

They both have been equally impressive in this tournament, with each showing the ability to hit outside, drive to the goal, get to the free throw line, rebound, find the open man, and protect the ball. Very impressive guards!

Justice was carried by his team in the first half. Newsome should have gotten MVP for his performance keeping SV in it early on.

Elisha Justice did his best impression of Mariano Rivera tonight though.. He made shots when it mattered most and finished the game out.

You cannot argue it. Newsome was 7 of 9 from the field, had more assists from the forward position, had 0 turnovers than Justice 3 turnovers, and had more boards with 5. A near perfect game.

I think if I were building a high school basketball team I would choose Polson over Justice. I've seen both players at least ten times so I can say I'm not completely biased on this. A friend of mine said tonight that Justice is the type of player you want, while Polson is the type of player you need. I agreed.

What about Polson's attempted tip dunk late in the 4th quarter. Who knew he had those kind of hops???? The kid was UP.
