Got National Championship tickets

Featured Replies

Oh I don't mind we paid $180 a ticket. Usually I wouldn't pay that much have been to a lot of Pro+College football but figured this might be a once in a lifetime shot. Honestly I thought they would be more because I know some games in Rupp were more than that according to some friends in Lex. Upper level are about that. We got lodge corners I think they were called. Only 8 rows up.

Not sure if you all have been to Lucas Oil but we caught a Colts game there last year. We sat in the bottom of the second level corner and they were great seats. The endzone really high looked a little scary but football wise there weren't a lot of bad seats. I figured the NCAA tickets were marked up some but ended up they were face value when I got them in the mail today.

So $180 for the whole Final Four? Sat. and Mon. night?

No one or the other. Had some friends that got both but to much for me. Love to do both but some old college friends and I got them to the Mon night only game. Having a hard time with lodging though. Thought I had enough awards points to get a place but don't. Some places downtown were like 400! I found a motel 8 for like 99 on Expedia so we might do that if we can't hook up with some old friends up there.

How far is it from Indy to Louisville? Like 100 miles?

You could get a room in Louisville and drive back there after the game.

That's awesome. I'm going to look about getting some too. Heck, if all else fails, I can either sell to a team that gets there, or go and see it anyway.

Exactly how far back would your tickets be? The little drawing doesn't explain much.

Yeh we've got a ride and free place in Lville if all else fails. I guess in my wildest dream UK will win it with us there. If that happens I'd be bummed to leave the city on that night. If anybody comes across any good deals let me know. I think we might have a friend to stay with hopefully.

There were a lot of tickets on stubhub when I got ours. I had a friend get some a week later in the upper section. I've only been to Lucas Oil once. We got really good priced tickets to a Colts game. We were close to the corner in the bottom part of the top level. I tried to get around there again. I think ours is called Club Corner or something like that. I was really happy with how good the seats were for the price to the Colts game. Reminded me of tickets we had to a UT football game. If you can get in the bottom part of the top they are really good seats at least football wise.

Like I said I'm not really familiar with Lucas Oil a lot but I do remember sitting there thinking that if you got really high up in the end zones it looked a little scary up there because it goes WAY up! I'd probably steer clear of getting too high up if you get endzones.

I was going to buy a ticket in January to both semifinal games and the championship game in the upper deck for 350.

I'm attending a movie convention this weekend, another convention in July and just couldn't do everything.

Considering the way Kentucky has started the tournament, looks like I may regret my decision.

If Kentucky does make it to the championship game I won't want to be any place on the planet besides Lexington.:dancingpa

Experienced that a couple of times in college. If you are close to college age you can't go wrong there. It's insane! I still remember a picture of kids on top of buildings and billboards down on Maxwell Street I think it was along with Ave of Champions.

We just bought 4 at a $130 a piece for Section 109 for the Semi's.

That's a heck of a deal! Let me know if you all find any good places to stay while you're up there.
