February 9, 201115 yr Remember the DVR is your friend. Set up a "Series recording" and you will not have to remember. No DVR in my household. I don't know if you'd consider me new school or old school. If I don't catch it the first time I'll just find it online somewhere. I just prefer to watch it on my 50 inch LCD rather than my 17 inch laptop.
February 10, 201115 yr I would like to, but I guarantee I won't like it as much as I liked the shield. I have seen bits and pieces of the wire however a I think I would like it. How can you actually say that without knowing for sure? Did you really compare them head-to-head?

The Shield is by far my favorite show of all time, and it's really not even close. I will admit that the final season was a bit of a let down, but other than that there wasn't a single episode I did not like. I'm sure I'd like The Wire, and I want to watch it. But I know I won't like it as much as The Shield. Regardless, I still want to, and plan on watching The Wire.

I know what I like and I know it won't be as good as The Shield, to me. I'm going to watch it eventually, and I'll come back here and give you the same answer after doing so.
