CincySportsFan Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 My wife informed me earlier today that Food Network host Guy Fieri (sp?) is apparently in the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area filming an episode for his "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" cable show. Now if your familiar with the show, just wondering who do you think might be the top prospects that we'll see featured on the show. I've got a couple of ideas for across the river in Cincinnati, but am drawing a blank right now for down here. Any thoughts?
gametime Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 Terry's Turf Club is the feature location for the show...
mcpapa Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 Not being real familiar with all the eateries in the area, which of the three is Terry's? Diner, drive-in or dive.
CincySportsFan Posted March 18, 2010 Author Posted March 18, 2010 Terry's Turf Club is the feature location for the show... Figured either Terry's or Zips were logical choices for Cincinnati. Thanks!

gold sunrise Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 They were in Lexington yesterday filming at The Parkette. I have eaten there alot when my husband was in college. It is good. I love this show, some really neat good local food.
Birdsfan Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 Terry's Turf Club is the feature location for the show...He usually visits about seven places while in a particular city. Bad news is, the segmants will not be seen together. Rather, they'll be spread out over several months of shows. He says his main goal in coming here was to try a 5-way.

Birdsfan Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 Skyline or Gold Star? :lol:Dixie, if he has any sense. But I would assume he'll hit the one that the rest of the country is most familiar with: Skyline.

Kentonman Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 Any other places you know of him going to while in town? Heard he was at Blue Ash Chili also. Skyline and Gold Star are both 2 fast food like for him.
CincySportsFan Posted March 18, 2010 Author Posted March 18, 2010 Heard he was at Blue Ash Chili also. Skyline and Gold Star are both 2 fast food like for him. Yeah, figured as much. Unless he would have been here 10 years or so ago, and gone to the old Skyline up in Price Hill on Glenway. If that wasn't the original location, it was certainly one of the oldest ones. Hadn't thought about Blue Ash, but figured Camp Washington might have been a more likely candidate for filming.
doubledeuce Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 He should go to either Price Hill Chili or Camp Washington Chili. As far as NKY, IDK.
Birdsfan Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 Right. And the feature stop for this one is Terry's Turf Club...No, it's just one of the group. There's no special significance to any one place.
