iPhone not updating with time change

Featured Replies

Neither mine or my wife's iPhone will update automatically with the time change. Is there something I need to do?

I don't have an Iphone, but my AT&T phone wouldn't update yesterday even though I had it on automatic update. I switched it to don't auto update, then switched it back to auto update, it then rebooted on it's own, and it switched to the correct time.

Have you tried turning them off and back on?

I have an AT&T phone and I had to turn my phone off for about 10 seconds, then turn it back on. Once I did, the time finally updated.

My old phone would update automatically if I turned it off and back on. I tried that with my iPhone and it didn't. I also tried it with my wife's and it wouldn't update either.

I even turned off the "set automatically" setting and changed the time manually. I then turned the setting back on and it changed the time back. It's almost like the AT&T system didn't update with the time change.

I believe it's an Iphone bug... Everybody I know that has an Iphone, including myself, is experiencing this issue. My time is right, but my text messages are still on old time.

I changed the time manually turned airplane mode on then back off, change the time setting back to automatic and it finally has the correct time. The world clock app also updated. However my ESPN ScoreCenter app as the wrong times for the games. I guess it will evenually update.

My iPhone updated without issue.

Are text message times correct on yours as well?

I don't have an iPhone, but my AT&T phone had all kinds of troubles with the time change.

My time is fine on my iPhone.

Mine too.

I dropped my IPhone in the potty on Friday....it was knocked out all weekend then after a couple days in rice when it came back to life....the time was updated.
