Isn't this thing becoming a joke? There should only be 15-20 deserving players in this thing at this juncture. Paraphrasing Justice Brandeiss "I can't define what an exceptional player is, but I know one when I see one."

Not just this year, just in general. In my opinion it wne tfrom very strong inductess initially, to marginal, to something less than that: so I guess "something less than that" is the defintion you seek. All subjective of course......

How did a Campbell County player that graduated in 1982 make the 10th Region HOF? Campbell was a 9th region team then. Shouldn't he be in the 9th HOF if they have one instead of the 10th?

I think that I would agree with you, but the 9th does not have a Hall of Fame, and the 10th coaches decided to let the schools that came from the 9th to select people regardless of which region they played, I would think that some of the boys on the team that won the region would be in front of Mr. Franzen.

Dan Franzen is one of the finest players to ever play at Campbell County.

Had he remained healthy during the district tournament, it would have been the Camels and not the Highlands Bluebirds who would have probably represented the 9th at Rupp.

Dan Franzen has earned his spot in the HOF. For too long he has been a man without a country.

Congrats to Dan Franzen!!! Long Overdue. :thumb:

How many players off the 2005 Pendleton County Wildcats make the 10th region Hall of Fame?

A case could be made for all named

Tyler Mains

Mason O'Hara

Patrick Elliott

John Elrod

I would have to think Keaton Belcher is an absolute lock and the only reason he didn't go in this year was because of him still playing. Will the fact Pat Elliott only played two years in the 10th hurt him, or will being named 10th region MVP put him over the top?

Sounds like I have some agreement here.............no qualms about "contributors" but someone should create consistent, objective criteria to nominate and elect players. It easy for some kid at a small school to get in averaging 28-29 ppg if he shoots the ball 45 times per game. Did his "team" win the District tournament, Region, Class A, anything of note?
