Hey now, its my alma mater and Coach Sorrell is a good buddy of mine. He works just as hard at trying to make those girls better as any other coach in NKY. In the end it comes down to numbers and talent. Last I checked Sydney Moss wasnt looking to transfer to Bellevue.

 

Although there are some really nice Condos on the river these days, Im sure Randy could put em up there.

Congrats to Boone but also congrats to the girls from Bellevue, they had nothing to do with the blind draw but they came out and played hard throughout this contest. Pretty clear they were happy to be on the big floor at the BOK.

I say we quit crying about the blind draw and stay positive in this thread. Bellevue did nothing wrong and whether you like it or not you will never change it if you dont like it. Deal with it.

 

Congrats to Coach Fookes as I predict they run the table with Ms. Moss and Congrats to Coach Sorrell for a fine season with the Bellevue Lady Tigers. He made some adjustments mid season and they played much better in the 2nd half. The girls bought into his system and hopefully the program gets better and builds off the District Runner up spot.

 

A little early for congadulation to be given. I guess you sawmore in the Bellevue game than I did.

All I'm asking is do you think you would still feel this way if your child went to Bellevue instead of NCC? Also, not sure why more Bellevue fans didn't come out to support. It was pretty lonely in the stands. I was talking with a few parents during halftime and they were saying that they heard only 40 presale tickets sold that day. Also, I thought someone mentioned earlier about there being 3 other districts who blind draw. Are they taking abuse too? And last, why doesn't the state classify basketball? There are only 2 states left.

 

I definately see your point but from strictly a logical stand pointe, removing emotion. It makes sense to make everyone play under the same rules. As far as the other regions not seeding, I'm sure that if a team much less talented than another made the tournament then there would be the same thing going on there.If everyone did a draw then I wouldn't have a problem with it.I just want uniformity. My team won their district and made the region and I still don' like it. As far as Ky not Classify basketball it has been proven that in basketball unlike Football it is easier to compete for smaller schools. You need 5 staters and afew bench players and if you have 2 truely quality players and 3 others that know their role they can compete. In football you need so many more players, smaller schools can't compete.One great running back will get killed without a good line.
