February 27, 201214 yr Anybody find any new fish fries this year? I saw that the Edgewood Fire Dept. is hosting one at the Edgewood Senior Center each week this year. They've had that a few years. It's decent.
February 28, 201214 yr The wife and I try to hit up a different fish fry each week during lent to socialize with friends from different parishes. Always fun and interesting to see the differences in each area. Best fish that I have found is St Pats in Taylor Mill. The music for entertainment might leave a little to be desired but you can't beat the fish!
March 6, 201214 yr Nothing better than a good fish fry. The Newport Elks in Highland Heights is great. They used to be really cheap but not so much any more. Tried the K of C in Claryville this weekend. It was horrible! We tried it last year and it was so bad my youngest did not want an order this year. Since the folks are so nice and I like supporting fundraisers I gave them a second chance and tried the different types of fishes they offered and it is just not good. May do St. Thomas or St. Mary this weekend.

March 6, 201214 yr I'm looking forward to trying some of the ones here in the Bardstown/Nelson County area that I've not yet hit in previous years. We have several scattered throughout the county.
