SK should be in the regional every season, historically they've been better than every team in the 32nd.

I have to disagree with you about WV being more talented. SK is 3-0 vs the Cats this season, the prior two wins by a total of 42 points. WV came to play last night, they didn't allow SK to get that large early lead like the previous two games.

I think WV is more talented, however, Steiner(?) just does an excellent job at defending which gives WV and every other team in the district a very tough time. Player to player and the matchups...well i have to say looking at them, WV is better. IMO

I think it came to a coaching battle...

They should they are 6X bigger than Walton or Williamstown. I think with the split of Shelby County - Simon may be the largest school in the 8th next year.

I totally disagree with that.

Congrats to SK and Coach Steiner!

If WV is so much more talented, why are they 0-3 vs. SK this year? I thought they got a little help from the zebras to stay as close as they did. And as for their defense, SK is an average defensive team at best. IMO, Doss needs to be getting more minutes. Hats off to some of the parents from WV- after the game I saw them congratulate some of SK players. Thats CLASS!

I also think WV will make some noise in the 8th Region tournament

Walton had every chance to win this game but turnovers killed them. Congrats to SK for a hard fought win and good luck to both teams in the regional.

They will play either South Oldham, Gallatin County, or Shelby County so they have their work cut out for them.

WV has been playing well but all three of those opponents would potentially be favored over the Cats.

Congrats to Casey on his MVP award and to Jordan Ponzer, the Enquirer stated he scored his 1000th point.

Congrats to Jordan Ponzer on 1000 points. There was a thread earlier this month on BGP talking about guys joining the 1000 point club and I don't think anyone threw his name out there.

I could not disagree more with this statement. I thought the refs were not at all favorable towards either team. They did make a few bad calls and did miss some too, but it was on both sides of the court and that is to be expected with every game as no ref is perfect. WV should have won this game I thought they played a little better but turnovers late in the game killed them and SK pulled it out. Walton is playing pretty good lately and I can see them winning a couple games in the region. I am not taking anything away from SK though they played good enough to win I just think WV could have just as easily won that game. Good luck to both team in the regional tournament.

Who were the refs in the game?

Notice i said SK plays tough defense...defense which none of the 32nd district teams like. If they're mediocre on defense...i guess they're offense is spectacular because they drilled WV the first two times they played...
