Bluegrasspreps.com is giving you a chance to show off your basketball knowledge statewide! The Bluegrasspreps Regional Pick 'em gives you a chance to pick games in different parts of the state for prizes EACH WEEK.

 

There will be Five regional contests every week. You will have a chance to pick the winners in each region -- West, Louisville, Bluegrass, Northern KY and East/Mountain.

 

Each region will have five games to pick from each week. We pick the games, and you will pick the winner of each game, assigning your picks a point value of 7-5-3-2-1.

 

The first tiebreaker is picking the team (of the ten teams in the contest) that scores the most points. You don't have to pick the highest scoring team, you just have to pick a team that scores more points than the team(s) picked by the member(s) you are tied with.

 

The second tiebreaker is time.

 

This is a season long contest and you can enter in any or all regions that you wish.

 

 

The best part is, if you win a weekly contest, you will have your choice of a prize.

 

How to claim your prize

 

The deadline for all entries is 5 pm (ET) Friday.

 

Be sure to post your winners and assign each of them one of the following point values (7-5-3-2-1) based on how strongly you feel that that team will win. (If your selections are not assigned a point value, the entire selection will be disqualified and you will have to submit a new set of selections.)

Due to a schedule change I had to change a game in this week's contest. Last week in showed Muhlenberg County playing Central Hardin. Now Muhlenberg County's schedule is not showing the game and Central Hardin's schedule is showing them playing North Hardin twice on the 5th.

 

So John Hardin/Grayson County game is being used instead of the Muhlenber County/Central Hardin game.

 

Those who have already made their picks can send me their changes and I will edit their posts. To make it easier please make sure that you let me know what point value you assign the game. Also send me any other changes in your pick set.
