There is a big difference between Jordan holding out his tongue and talking smack or Tiger fist pumping to LBJ's choreographed antics. You think you would see Jordan flexing, dancing on the court, or taking pictures with Pippen before a game? It is not even close; what LeBron is doing for an elite superstar is unprecedented, imo.

Shaq has had similar antics during his career hasn't he? I'd say at one time he was definitely elite.

Are the majority of you guys with LeBron problems Kobe or DWade guys or something? I can see being mad about him not shaking hands, but the dancing is just fun and him being a good teammate. It's another reason the Cavs have such great chemistry.

 

Maybe you don't want your 5th grade son acting like that in a game, but in the regular season in the NBA there is no problem with it IMO. Artest, Rasheed Wallace, Stephen Jackson, and even Kobe have done things far worse IMO.

HT can tell you my feelings on Kobe...:lol: Have no problem with Wade, but not really a fan of his either. LeBron is simply immature. There are things you just don't do as a professional. You always shake hands after the game, you show up to the post game presser, you don't run up to NIKE reps after being posterized by a college kid and have them confiscate the footage, you don't dance in front of your opposition's bench, and you don't say your going to participate in something then back out of it. He thinks he's bigger than the game, and it just simply isn't true.

When Shaq was in his prime, he had his goofy moments mainly off the court. But when the ball was tossed in the air, it was go time and nothing but business. Now Shaq is more of a side show.

Not necessarily. I think LeBron is a good guy and tremendous talent. He is must watch television and I enjoy watching him play. I just believe he takes his circus too far and for as good as he is, a lot of this stuff should be below him.

Over the past year or so I've come to realize one thing...LeBron is a tool.

Well he was in that rape case (which he was obviously cleared of) and the whole deal with him critcizing teammates. LeBron has not had anything bad off the court and by accounts is a good teammate. You never see a tape of him blasting JJ Hickson in public. Many of the guys mentioned are just as bad or worse than LeBron.

 

Kobe has never been called a bad sportsman, but then again he never had the chance to be or act like LeBron. The Lakers were not Kobe's team until Shaq left, LeBron has always been the leader of the Cavs so he has to learn on the fly IMO. That makes a difference to me.

Jeez, the man makes mistakes in the public eye then least acts contrite about them(rape case), grows up and matures in the public eye(blaming teammates, Andrew Bynum tape), learns how to become a teammate in the public eye and finally wins a ring without the help of the greatest teammate of all time(Shaquille O'Neal) and yet you guys still hammer him.

 

And now LeBron, all of his 25 years of age strikes a camera pose and has his shoe people confiscate a tape of a weak dunk that happened in his defensive vicinity and he's a tool and the Cavs are unlikeable. You guys are a tough crowd is all I can say.

 

Just out of curiousity, what perfect athletes do all you guys like? Even Peyton Manning has thrown his teammates under the bus. I'd be interested in knowing what perfect pro athlete you like because a lot of you always seem to have something negative to say about everybody.
