January 27, 201016 yr To me you just expect a little more from your superstars. LeBron is, if not one of the best in the NBA. On his way to becoming an all time great. I just could never see an all time great flexing, posing, and all out showboating like LBJ does. Jordan, Bird, Kareem, Tiger, Mannning, Unitas, Montana, Rice, Aaron, Clemens, etc. Could you imagine any of these guys or other all time great taking the antics to LBJ's level? I realize it is a "new age" and LeBron is just having fun with it.... which it is not necessarily a bad thing. But for the all time greats, the fun has always been about burying your opponents in to the ground. I couldn't believe it when I saw it but John Wall flexed in the game Saturday after an and-1 I believe. I guess he is getting too big for himself too...
January 27, 201016 yr For a kid who was given the money he was given at the age of 18, put on a team by himself with no other star or even semi-star, and having the entire world watching him and telling him how good he is, I'd say he turned out pretty good so far. I would rather hear someone say "I just don't like Lebron James" then someone give a platitude remark like "he is immature" or "he didn't shake his hand" or "he's a tool". Find something better to do. Hate on Vick or Arenas. Hate on Big Mac, A-Roid, Bonds or someone who has actually done something notably wrong. No one has ever been put under this type of microscope and been told how good they are ever before in sports. Agree!!! I don't understand how someone could call LeBron a tool cause he has a personality and like to have some fun. As long as his teammates and coaches have no problem with him and he isn't effecting the way the Cavs are playing, then what's the problem?
