Good show, I liked how the pebble toad gets away from spiders. Pretty rough stuff with the komodo dragons and water buffalo though. I think they followed this animal for like 3 weeks waiting to attack.

Yea, no matter how much you realize that it's just "part of nature", that would still have to be an emotional experience to go through.

I thought it was neat, but Signoughy Weaver was MUCH better narrator than Oprah!

Agreed. But thankfully Oprah doesn't take away from it too much.

I was wanting to watch this and I completely forgot about it. A new one comes on nightly for the next few days doesn't it?

The new seasons will be shown on Sundays according to the website.

I say they will rerun last nights two episodes a few times this week.

I saw this last night. So it started out with one dragon biting it, and by the end there were 10 or so waiting for it to die? I found it gruesome that they can smell prey from about 2 miles away.

Yeah that was pretty brutal to watch. The dolphins making a mud circle to make the fish jump out was pretty cool.

What I'm wondering is how they get the footage. For example the pebble toad. How did they know exactly where it was going to land? Another being the waterfall toad. How did they know which branch exactly it was going to catch on to?

I found it quite boring.

Except for the dolphins and little goat-like animals on the cliff, i agree it was slow

They will film for months, waiting to get a few seconds of footage. Simple statistics.

I didn't see the bit about the dolphins, I'll have to look that up.

I have a friend who has a big problem with the film crews allowing slaughters to happen without intervening. I don't know what to say about that. Evolution, I guess.
