I went with:

1B- Ted Kluszewski

2B- Joe Morgan

SS- Barry Larkin

3B- Tony Perez

OF- Eric Davis

OF- Pete Rose

OF- Dave Parker

C- Johnny Bench

P- Bucky Walters

George Foster? Frank Robinson early in his career?

OF: Pete Rose, Vada Pinson, Frank Robinson

Stats aside, my favorite Reds lineup that I enjoyed watching:

2B Little Joe

3B Pete (offensively) Spuds (defensively)

SS Barry Larkin

OF Jr.

OF Eric the Red

OF Dante Bichette (OMG, just kidding:scared:) George Foster

C Johnny

P Tom Seaver/Don Gullett

Where is Geronimo in centerfield? Cannon for an arm.

I like myself some Eddie Taubensee as well. Classic player.

Not quite as prodigious (sorry, it's the Word of the Day on my calendar :p) with the stick . . . .

True, but dude patrolled. A pleasure to watch.

I distinctly remember one play in which the batter hits a fly to Geronimo in medium CF with a guy on 3B. 3B runner bluffs taking off to the plate, as he should, just to see if he can draw a throw that is off line and gets away from catcher. Geronimo, however, fires a 6 foot high laser dart to third and catches the guy still standing in disbelief 1/3 of the way down the baseline.

I went to the link. Doggie at 3B? Come on.

The toughest call for me is at SS.

I think the difference between Larkin's and Concepcion's hitting is greater (and more valuable) than the difference between their fielding. Unless, of course, you were referring the Woody Woodward.

Almost as bad as the pitching staff they put together. How many modern day fans recognize those names?

Statistically, its easy. Intangibles make this one tough.

Uh, no to Woody.
