January 9, 201016 yr Anyone that doesn't have Arkansas in the top 15 isn't paying attention, IMO. I agree. I think they are a contender in the SEC if Bama's defense can't replace all of those guys. That offense should be nasty.:thumb: I also liked Wisconsin being in there. They have a nice team and should win alot of games again IMO.
January 9, 201016 yr 1. Alabama 2. Oregon 3. Boise St. 4. Ohio St. 5. Nebraska 6. Wisconsin 7. Texas 8. Iowa 9. Miami 10. Iowa How is Oregon ahead of OSU?
January 9, 201016 yr IDC. I want playoffs to figure out who the best team is in the country FAIRLY. This BCS thing is a joke. Complete joke. I know people will disagree with me but Alabama might not of been the best in the country this year. Who knows? In a playoff Boise St., Oregon, OSU...etc. Any team can have a bad game throughout the year and as soon as that happens you automatically assume they aren't the best team in the country and you automatically eliminate them from a National Title. BCS is ridiculous. Playoffs is fair.
January 9, 201016 yr 1. Bama--Best RB duo in the country, steady QB, best defensive coach in the game IMO. 2. Virginia Tech--Ahead of OSU because they have a better RB duo. Taylor, Williams and Evans are going to be sick. 3. OSU--Pryor is my early choice for the Heisman. Tress has learned how to use him. 4. Boise--Only lose 2 starters. Should be a legit title threat. 5. Oregon--Need to fix the defense, but that's a nasty offense. Everything else is a crapshoot IMO. -LSU has talent, but can they eliminate stupid mistakes? Even MNC year had two losses. -Georgia Tech can be a very good team, depends on who leaves early though IMO. -Texas they will reload, but I don't see them making another title run. -Oklahoma should be much improved, but probably not title worthy. -Nebraska if the offense improves they could win the Big 12. -Florida may have some bumps in the road but they will still be a good team IMO. -TCU will continue to be good, though they won't have a shot to win the MNC. Boise loss really set them back IMO. -Miami has as much talent as just about anyone. Can the line block? Defense stay healthy and mature? Can Jacory drastically reduce his picks? If those 3 things improve the Canes will be a tough out. -FSU just isn't ready IMO for the top 10. They will be much improved, I see about 9 wins or so. -USC will be much better, but they will be very young. Look out two years from now. -Stanford has maybe the best QB in the country. They will continue to win. I think Auburn, Michigan, Arkansas, and UNC all surprise people next year. They do have a very good backfield. But remember OSU has both starters back and Jamaal Berry will be in the mix who sat this year out with a hamstring issue (according to the media guide :sssh:) and they add one of the top backs in the country in Rod Smith a powerback. I think it may be the deepest backfield ever at OSU but quantity or quality is to be seen.

I'm not real big on Berry, but I'm sure he'll put up some good stats. I think Williams and Evans are the two best backs between the teams. However, I think Pryor is better than Tyrod.
January 9, 201016 yr :thumb: I am looking forward to following Boise St. next season. I'm looking forward to Boise getting beat so everyone can get off the BLUE KOOLAID
January 9, 201016 yr Author I'm looking forward to Boise getting beat so everyone can get off the BLUE KOOLAID There isn't any Kool-Aid involved IMO, Boise State has played and beaten almost everyone they've came in contact with since Chris Petersen has been the coach. They beat Texas Christian this season-who everyone said was legit, and they beat a decent Oklahoma team in 2007.
January 9, 201016 yr I'm looking forward to Boise getting beat so everyone can get off the BLUE KOOLAID Okay, good luck with that. They beat whoever they play, I can't see why people wouldn't like them. :idunno: Boise is a top 10 program right now. And yes, that means better than every single program in the No So Big East.
January 9, 201016 yr Won't take the time to do a top ten but noway should bama be 1 nor will they end there.
January 9, 201016 yr Won't take the time to do a top ten but noway should bama be 1 nor will they end there. No chance at all? The young guys Saban have brought in are suppose to potentially be better than what he had this year. Hightower returns at LB, Marcell Dareus made some huge plays last night and will be back, Nico Johnson, Mark Barron, and Kareem Jackson will be back. Bama's defense probably won't be as good, but it will still be nasty IMO. The Line loses some guys, but they lost guys last year too. Saban has a great staff and I would be shocked if Bama isn't in the title hunt late in the season. Not to mention it's hard to go wrong with Ingram and Richardson in the backfield.
January 9, 201016 yr Won't take the time to do a top ten but noway should bama be 1 nor will they end there. Interesting analysis. Who is your #1? Let me guess, Ohio State. Where should 'Bama be ranked? I think Boise St. plays in the national title game next year.
January 9, 201016 yr Author Won't take the time to do a top ten but noway should bama be 1 nor will they end there. Ohio State not a chance. If not Alabama or Ohio State who is your number one team? Those are pretty much the only two teams I have heard even in consideration at this point.
January 9, 201016 yr Newark, I remember you. Bama hater. Do you follow football? Bama has their QB/Two RBs/Three wideouts/TE/lose one lineman/ On "D" we do lose two LBs/Three DLs/One DB PK Punter. Defense is easier to replace than Offense. and we have experince in there. Hope this gives a little insight, we also have two backup QBs wanting to play and Greg will be pressed. Coach Saban will play the best player. PM me and I will give you our recruituing info, it looks the best so far in Coach Sabans time here. Getting off my help to the posters, the Horns have quite a few players back and a lot depends on how many kids leave early for all the schools.
