January 8, 201016 yr I'm glad you corrected that , it confused me. Now its 38-21 Bama. Now you can't get the score right. It's Bama 37-21.
January 8, 201016 yr Didn't Bear Bryant win one at UK and Bama? They beat the season-ending No. 1 in 1950, if my history is correct, but there wasn't a post-bowls poll. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
January 8, 201016 yr Didn't Bear Bryant win one at UK and Bama? Don't think so. UK 1950, just did a quick search.
January 8, 201016 yr Now you can't get the score right. It's Bama 37-21. Yea, didn't expect the missed fg...lol
January 8, 201016 yr And the SEC chant has appeared. I thought that only happened at Commonwealth ...

Just peeking at Wikipedia the NCAA retroactively awarded the national title to UK. Whatever that means. AP had them # 7, but I do not know if that was the final poll or if they had a "final" poll back then.
January 8, 201016 yr That RB deserved it, i think because of how he carried them while Ingram was out. He already had a score, and he's only a freshman. He'll be back. You have the ball 1st and goal within the 5, and you're up 10 with under a minute to go. You take a knee. If Texas calls a TO, then go ahead and run a play.
January 8, 201016 yr I think they got the Sagarin one, but no, they didn't get it because there was not an AP poll that came later. Just checked my ESPN Sports Almanac, and the final poll was Nov. 27.
