December 19, 200916 yr Just rain so far in NKY. I was out in it but of course people are all out there acting like fools.
December 19, 200916 yr NKY with about a half inch right now but its really slick stuff. Didn't make it up my driveway :irked:
December 19, 200916 yr Everything is covered here in NKY. It's pretty looking with the street and house lights reflecting off of it.
December 19, 200916 yr Unofficial measure, since I haven't ventured outside yet, but I'd say where I'm at in Richmond has about 3+ inches on the cars, 2 inches on the grass, and about an inch of slush on the road/driveways. We'll see if I can make it to work this morning in my tiny, 2WD Toyota Celica...my car is parked on a hill.
December 19, 200916 yr The same ole' Mason County winter, maybe an inch or so of slushy snow, not cold at all, just enough to be messy. Oh Well.
December 19, 200916 yr The same ole' Mason County winter, maybe an inch or so of slushy snow, not cold at all, just enough to be messy. Oh Well. Well then consider yourself lucky that you aren't one of the 50,000 without power... I'm sure many people would gladly trade with you.
December 19, 200916 yr There's 6 or 7 inches here in Owsley County. I was without electricity from 1 AM until 3 PM. Heavy snow on tree limbs, especially pines, is a problem in the mountains during these storms.

December 19, 200916 yr We barely had an inch in Maysville, and it has all almost melted... Sounds like 40's and rain for Maysville on Christmas, what will this be now, about 20 years without a good heavy snow fall for Christmas for Mason County?
December 19, 200916 yr Sounds like 40's and rain for Maysville on Christmas, what will this be now, about 20 years without a good heavy snow fall for Christmas for Mason County? The most I can remember is around 6-8 inches over 10 years ago when I was a kid.
