If you had to pick the top players for the East/West at this point in the season I think you would have one heckuv a game. Think about some of the talent on both teams.

The East would feature a backfield consisting of Austin Collinsworth, Ricky Buckler and Chris Kelly.

The West would have Nick West at QB and Miles Simpson at RB. Wow....This will be a fun game to watch.

Who are some other players and matchups that you can foresee in this game?

I don't forsee Simpson or Collinsworth playing in this game. Too much to lose in terms of injury versus scholarship. Plus, a lot of the schools want the guys enrolled in classes ASAP and doing summer workouts. It might be different if the game wasn't in June.

Isn't this game just for Senior's?

The game is for seniors only. Kelly is a junior.

IMO I look for this all star game to be a lot better than last years. There is more talent overall than last season.

What side would Dixie be on? Ryan Wilson and Korey Klei would be solid.

Other Simon Kenton players - Jordan Hansel and Austin Baldwin.

I would really like to see Brandon Roller, Markel Walker and Nick West play one last time. I feel that all three are quality players that are deserving of some more D-I looks.

NKY has a lot more talent than usual in its senior class. I wonder if we see some scouts out there this year.

Will this be at Ryle?

Since the All Star game is in June, isn't that too late for scouting??

?

Austin is a Junior, Nick Brown is a senior.

Are you speaking of the NKY game for seniors, or a hypothetical game.

I was just thinking of a hypothetical game but using the boundaries that they use obviously. I believe Dixie would be classified as West so they would have a very deadly QB duo of West and Wilson.

Markel Walker would probably be the East QB.

Jared Lorenzen played....How did that turn out?

From what I heard he was taking classes right after graduation so they can enroll right away into college. It looks like a good time and seems to get a pretty good turnout. When I was in high school kids could only play in 2 all-star games per sport. Is this still right? If so I wouldn't expect to see them but it would be fun to see them on the same field together.
