I think Beechwood wins by at least three touchdowns. I have seen both teams play twice this year, including the game they played against each other. What I saw was the better team winning in Beechwood even in conditions that favored Bellevue more. So yeah I think Beechwood win by more in this game, since they are playing in conditions that probably help Beechwood more. Now is it impossible for Bellevue to win no, because they do have a very good team and I believe they are one of the top 5 Class A teams in the state. So if Beechwood doesn't come out to play, then Bellevue could. However if both teams come out ready to play like they should, then I think Beechwood is still a better team by at least 3 touchdowns. I think they would slow down Buckler, and make them beat them with the pass which I have no reason so far to believe Bellevue can do that, maybe they will prove me wrong cause I am sure Coach Eckstein will have a great game plan in place.

I think there is a difference in feeling it and saying it. Give respect to your opponent. Beechwood has earned the respect. They are State Champs until another class A team beats them. Which I hope and Believe it will be Friday. If you don't believe you can't win.

 

I have noticed one thing this year in all Bellevue threads, and anytime someone picks against Bellevue you say based on what even though they are just stating their opinion. I mean if they pick Bellevue to lose, then maybe its just because they believe the other team is better. I guess people should ask you to back up all your opinions on here for now on too.

Beechwood has Rigdon and he is their nucleus. I dont see the Beechies beating Bellevue with the pass at all. I dont even see Colosimo beating them but if they don't contain Rigdon it will be a long night. Build a fence around Rigdon and Bellevue will be fine.

I don't believe BW will shut BV out. I think most people that saw the way BV drove the ball on BW the first game would have to believe BV will score at least a couple of times. That would mean that BW would have to score at least 7 times to win by 5 TD's. The most BV has given up is 36 and that was in the first game of the year. Even if BV gets down early I don't think they will be willing to abandon their ball control offense until the second half at least. This will mean that they will eat up the clock thus limiting the time for BW to score.

 

I believe BV will win based on the fact that they average scoring more than BW and they average giving up less points than BW. Just the facts sir. Just the facts.

 

I realize BW schedule is a lot harder than BV so the number may be a little skewed. Sometime you just have to Believe in your team. After watching BV at Frankfort last week It became obvious that these kids on Bellevue's Football team Believe in each other. I honestly think these two team are as close as two teams can be. Either team could win in my opinion. It will come down to who makes the least amount of mistakes and who whats it the most. All yea and who Believes.

So I just want to clear that up with you. Now thank you for telling me why you believe Bellevue would win, I mean that is your opinion and even though I do agree with you on some of those things, I do respect your opinion on that. I always have respected your opinion on things, even if we don't agree on most of the things.

 

I admit I am not a Bellevue fan, however if you have noticed I have said plenty of times that I think Bellevue is one of the best teams in 1A. I was one of the people who said Bellevue has to be in the top 10 in the state, when the polls had them left out sometimes this year. I honestly believe they probably are top 5 in the state this year. I mean I really don't have any bias to either team in this game because I don't like Beechwood either, however based on what I have seen Beechwood is the better team and are not as even as you say. I don't see Bellevue scoring that much on Beechwood, unless Beechwood turns the ball over a lot and Bellevue takes advantage of short fields. I think Beechwoods defense will be better against Bellevues offense now in better conditions, than Bellevues offense will be against Beechwoods defense. I also think Beechwood's offense will be better off now against Bellevue's defense in these conditions. So unless Bellevue can make Beechwood turn the ball over a lot (which is possible), then I think Beechwood does win by at least 3 touchdowns. However if Bellevue can cause turnovers and capitalize on them, then I think this game could go either way.

Rule 14

In theory this is Bellevue's state championship game. It doesnt mean if they win they will pack it in but it means they are facing a team this week that IMO is the best team in the state in Class A. They have exceptional speed in Ft. Mitchell this year and it was not put on display in the last matchup against Bellevue in the quagmire at Gilligan Stadium.

 

I will have to disagree with you on Beechwood being the best 1A team this year. I have seen Beechwood, Bellevue and LCA play this year, and IMO LCA is better than both of them and honestly I think would win by at least a few touchdowns on Beechwood, and by a big amount on Bellevue. LCA is big, strong, fast, and have the best player in 1A and one of the best players in the state IMO in their running back Hayden.

We're not that far apart. I never said people are crazy for thinking BW could win this game. They are and have been ranked ahead of BV all year. BW is the reining State Champs and until beaten they are in my book the number one team in the state. If BV wins this will have to be the biggest upset all year. Bellevue wasn't even ranked going into the year. As I have said before I hope and believe Friday is the night.

Found out from inside scoop in Colisimo kid, he will play, injury not that bad. Word is they are keeping hush hush about thinking Bellevue would have the edge. Not going to happen, Bellevue is going to have to contain Rigdon and stop the long game if they are going to win. C U ALL FRIDAY!!!
