There is limited, (very limited) seating for opposing crowds at Ty Holland Stadium. if you want a seat, I'd get there VERY early. Visibility is not good. The stadium was built during the Revolutionary War. It needs a lot of renovation. I'd suggest starting with a bulldozer. Fort Campbell wins by as much as they want.

^Are you serious or sarcastic? My gosh that's old.

Serious about everything except the War. I think it was actually during the Spanish-AMerican war. :p Honestly, the place is OLD! Needed renovation? Believe it! And the seating issue, believe it! A trip to the Falcon woodshed? Believe it! But hey, Murray should be happy with 12-1... Enjoy your trip and watch for those deer!

It was renovated a few years back.

So, is it much better than explained earlier? It doesn't matter to me that much, I'm on the sideline with the boys.......but I have friends that'll be in the stands.

Ty Holland renovated? Really? Did they ever finish? Honestly, I've been to places much worse, but with the pride they take in their program and community support in Murray, I would expect them to have something nicer. Shouldn't be a factor in the outcome of this week's game, though.

I don't know that it's better than explained, we'll let you be the judge. But really, there isn't much seating for opposing team fans. If you're on the sidelines with your boys, then it won't matter. Just remember, it's actually a middle school field.

Yeah, that place is tiny, not really a football stadium, I figured they would playing here instead of MSU to keep down the speed of FC.

Yeah, playing here somewhat negates the speed of FC, but I think that's still altogether silly because FC plays at home on grass......and the majority of their away games (with the exception of OCC) have been played on grass as well.

We'll have to wait and see.

It is not exactly an open-ended invitation to come play at Roy Stewart like some keep acting like. They have only played out there in year's past based upon necessity.

Thanks for the seating info. I guess I’ll have to get there early, although I would have anyway.

There are just removable bleachers on the visitor side of the field. Which is about the same as I see in 90% of the stadiums I go to. The Middle School was renovated about 4 years ago and the field and overall facility is 10X better than it used to be.

Thanks. I appreciate the information.

The Middle School just happens to be the old Murray High. The seating on the home side is pretty good. Can't remember much about the visiting side. Seems to me most people stood all around the field for the most part anyway. The actual playing service was pretty decent, if I recall.
