Do you remeber the stir over John Edward's $400 haircut? Fox reported yesterday that this bit of info was released by the Obama camp. Obama wins by savaging people's personal lives with 'cheap tricks'. I don't like Edwards and his phony populism, but Obama has no real work resume to be President, so he resorts to 'cheap tricks' like old 'Tricky Dick' Nixon.

That sounds like something Fox News would report.

 

Who cares what happened during the election. This really isn't a big deal. Even if it's true, I'm sure EVERY campaign does things like that.

I couldn't help but laugh out loud when I read John Edwards and Tricky Dick in the same paragraph.

I agree w/ you to an extent, but two wrongs don't make a right or some other expression I learned when I was younger. Politicains on both sides lost their way a long long time ago. Pretty sad for the rest of us.

Certainly worse on Edwards having an affair than McCain NOT having one. I'm not sure I follow you on anything more than that.

I really don't care if McCain had an affair or not. I want the country to go in the right direction. I don't care which side gets us going that way. I think they're all crooks right now.

I can justify it based on choices. I could not vote for McCain with Palin as his runningmate. Additionally, my beliefs more closely aligned with Obama's platform than McCain's. That being said, I still might have voted for McCain had Palin not been his pick.

Allow some of us to make a different point, instead of picking a choosing just one. $400 haircut does not equate with spreading lies that someone's adopted child is actually from an affair.
