Thank You Veterans!!

If the mods could indulge me on this thread which is outside the rules, I want to take today - Veterans Day - to say thank you, and allow others to do likewise here. Especially for those at Ft. Campbell and Ft. Knox who we all know are on this site, THANK YOU!!

The freedoms we all enjoy every day are because of your efforts and sacrifices. I encourage everyone who reads this thread, some time today seek out at least one veteran and say thank you! For anyone who wants to extend holiday wishes to service members and veterans during the coming holidays, here is a link that will allow you to support our heroes in service who make our holiday enjoyment possible.

AMEN!

Remembrance Day in other parts of the world, falling on November 11, the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice that ended World War I. (Major hostilities of World War I were formally ended at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918 with the German signing of the Armistice.)

Thank you to all of our men and women who served and to our heroes who are serving today!

TwoEagles, I know you are very proud of your son. He is in good hands. The military takes care of each other. All of us are brothers. I served in the ARMY for a lot of years. Trust me he is being well taken care of. Thank him for me for serving in the MARINES. I'm so proud of the job we are doing all over the world. If not for politics each of these wars we are in right now would be long over. It wouldn't take us long to take over wherever we are and restore law and order. But we as soldiers can only do what we are told.

THANK YOU VETERANS FOR SERVING

And thank you soldiers who are still serving and protecting us

.

Thank you to all our service men and women! We couldn't say this enough and it needs to be said more throughout the year!!!

A definite, heartfelt thank you to our wonderful veterans. :thumb:

Everybody make sure to check out the Veterans Day thread in the General Forum, too.

Please tell your son that a blogger on here said a loud and proud, "Semper Fi"!!!! Tell him thank you for serving and keeping America the best country on earth.

May I also add a note of gratitude for each and every one of our military who have sacrificed for the freedoms we still enjoy. May God Bless and watch over each one of you.

Thank you men and women who have protect us out there on the front line, thank you all veterans of the USA.

I still remember being in the DC area airport waiting for our connection flight with the 8th grade class returning from the DC class trip. About a half-dozen soldiers came off the plane and our group erupted with cheers and applauses, the soldiers were stunned at first but left with big grins as they went along their way. One of the best days.

Thanks to the troops, vets and current warriors on the job!
