Boyle will win this one big again. Now if Cath wins next week then we will play at home and that game scaries me. Cath. can pass and there short passing hurt us the last game. Don't know a whole lot about home and wonder if it would be better to play them? I still think that we will win no madder who it is and have a rematch with Bell.

My understanding is that Boyle is getting turf in the offseason. around the $400k ballpark

 

I spoke with Mike Pittman last summer and he said they would end up going to turf in the near future once they had the money. Looks like a good investment. :thumb:

And if you don't like riding in a bus,which by the way I don't.You can park your car or truck at the Boyle parking lot and walk to Centre.I think its only about 2 miles if that.

 

I really don't think parking will be that much of a problem around Centre.There are plenty of street parking around Centre and the downtown area. This would be much closer than walking from Boyle's parking lot. During the Brass band festival over the last 20 years, I've always found a parking spot within a "real easy walk" and the crowd at the festival is a lot larger than

than the anticipated crowd this Friday night. I also attented Centre first night game this year and the place was packed and still didn't have a problem with parking even then. Granted, it might be a small inconvenience, but in the end our REBELS will be just 3 games away from being called CHAMPIONS.:banana::banana::banana::dancingpa

And the fact that Boyle's field has basically been sub-standard for a long time. They have a great stadium, but it seems like there have been grass issues there for years. I remember them moving 1 or 2 early season games to the road a couple years back. Turf would be a great addition for them and it might even allow them to bring back the idea of a Danville/Boyle bowl that was bandied about a couple years ago.

Catholic may not even get past Holmes so if they didn't and Boyle won they would be traveling up North. So they wouldn't have to worry about it then.

Only if Lex Cath wins will Boyle be at home. (IMO is likely). Odd number district gets to host in odd number years (2009). Boyle is in District 6, and Holmes is in district 5.
