What is it they say? A win is a win. We just couldn't get the offense rolling. It was like a V-8 running with two sparkplug wires crossed. I was hoping we would come out and play with more fire or something. I think we really missed Litteral and Burchett in the backfield.

Hats off to Lynn Camp. They never gave up. They kept plugging along. LC is a very hard nosed team. LC seemed to be playing harder then the RAMS the last 15 minutes of the game. They should be proud. They never gave up.

The RAM defense looked very good about 75% of the time. You could tell we were missing our noseguard and linebacker.. But I think they played hard. Hopefully next week we will be at full strength. We better be.

Cat- in- the- hat I hope you and others got to go over and meet some of the good folks of Raceland football tailgating. And I hoped they served you up some good food.

Thank you! I am really at a loss for words that truly express how I feel with your kind words. We love our Rams and I am glad it shows. Win or lose, we will always cheer and play hard and fair.

BTW, I think you represented our District pretty well, too! I believe we won 3 out of 4 last year as well.

Because the officiating left alot to be desired...the nicest thing i can say about that without getting into trouble.

In reality, it shouldn't have been this close. Raceland was up at one point 19-0 & had opportunities, but never delivered the knockout punch & allowed Lynn Camp to hang around & almost pull off the upset. To their credit, the Wildcats hung around & played tough. Also, Raceland was missing three starters off of their offense & defense.

 

Lynn Camp has some tough-nosed runners, #22 & #1 are a load to bring down.

 

Farley was 22-39 for 205 yards (2 TD's & 2 INTS.)

 

The defense had (3) INTS. & a fumble recovery.

Thank you so much TwoEagles. We are rivals on the field but I like to think there is much respect for each others fans and programs both ways off the field. I must say that I along with many others respect the LCA program as well.

 

Having said that......Frankly you people could show a little more hospitality and not beat us so much, that is kind of rude. :irked::lol:

Turnover's really cost LC dearly and trust me the INT that was returned for a TD was not suppose to be a qb throwback. This was a HARD hitting game just like I thought it would be.

 

We seem to try and out smart ourselves sometimes like going on 2 and jumping offsides that put us in a bad situtation down around the 20 late in the game.

 

It was nice to meet SidelineDoc and a couple of other BGPer's good luck the rest of the way and just maybe we might meet again next year...:thumb:

Cerebral has a fine point there seemed to be too much quite air from officials. Worried me about injuries. I know a few are really banged up a little more than usual.
