How long do you get to stay chopper gunner? I didn't unlock that perk because I figured it would be really short.

 

I usually rock in the chopper gunner for 1 minute, which is usually enough time to get 10 kills at least.

 

What builds do you use the most? And what game modes do you play?

 

I usually rock the 4 care package, and 11 chopper gunner then the nuke. I have started to drop the nuke sometimes and use the emergency air drop which usually drops good stuff. I usually play Demolition. I love that game type or Domination because if you have a good team its just pure spawn camping for 10 minutes.

I'm hoping that after tomorrow I'll have a bit more time to play, but realistically I doubt I'll get to play as much as I'd like until after finals.

What about guns and perks? What do you like to use. I'm still trying to find out what I like best.

You can knife people so easily, one game on Afghan I went 27-2 without firing my gun.

Another thing i've noticed is most people use the harrier, hide until it gets them enough kills to get the chopper gunner and that gets them enough for the nuke. I love shooting down enemy aircraft as soon as they get in the air.

If I just want to go out and flatten people I will use the M16, but that just makes me feel like a nub. I always use stopping power no matter what class, stopping power is a must. I also run scavenger and steady aim or ninja.

 

There are many guns in the game that are strong. The ACR is my favorite by farrrrrr. The accuracy on it is ridiculous. I also like the AUG, its got LMG power with assault rifle clip. Also depending on the game time, I like to rock a Tar Silenced. The Tar itself is hard to control, but with a silencer it reduces the bounce alot.

I notice that alot of people think they are funny using a javelin at the start of a match just to fire it in the air to think they are going to get a kill. I also dont like the fact that some of the kill streaks you get dont work towards your streak. Meaning if you get a care package at 4 and get a Pavelow, it wont count towards your kill steak.

That is why the care package is basically useless to me. 80% of the time all it gives me is Counter UAV or something anyway. I'd rather use something that counts towards my killstreak.

Yeah, its hard for me to drop it, but when I get a 4 kill streak and it drops me a chopper gunner or an AC130 it makes my games go alot sweeter :lol:.

My son and I are struggling with the online play. We'll tear you up on World at War, but we're getting smoked in MW2. Might be because we haven't played enough yet. But it's a much faster pace than WAW. Tips? Thoughts?

The biggest thing I think is expect people to come from any where. The maps are much bigger and have alot more places to hide, camp, go higher etc. Claymores could really be your friend in this game.

Camp, play team deathmatch and use cold blooded/ninja.

 

This formula is usually good for a few kills until you get used to the speed. Have your teammate set up behind you to watch your back and just pick off the enemy that run by. After a few kills stay in the same area but find a different hiding spot. When the guy that you killed earlier comes looking for you after he respawns you can kill him again from another angle.

That's the biggest thing, two or three kills in one spot, and them move. Gotta keep the opposition off balance.

I've never bought a game like this, but was thinking about it. Why should I get this? I usually only get sports games for my PS3

This game is all camping, I will say that. I get rocked constantly because the fact that I cant camp.
