Tough loss for the Lions, they never got the offense going at all, and the 4th quarter was a complete melt down.

Boyd Co. did put up a fight - for a half. It was just 14-0 at half time. They just couldn't hang with the Tomcats. They were out of gas by the 4th quarter.

 

 

Congratulations on a 9-1 season Tomcats! You were just 2-points away from a perfect regular season. This is the best record since 1990. :thumb:

Being a rival game, I did too. I at least thought they'd score. Wish we could see a Johnson Central-Ashland rematch.

I've seen them play a couple of times. I don't think I've ever seen them kick an extra point. They may not have a kicker. Or they just dont want to. If they run every time it will all equal out. They can't make it evey time. They don't do it to run the score up if that is what you are thinking.

This game went about the way I thought it would...Asahland is "who we thought the were", or at least who some of us were saying they were all along. Tomcats stumbled up one time this season.
