First of all I hope Mr Whitt is OK. I think he is a great QB. He has terrorized us it seems like 10 years!! Sombody check his birth certificate! I really do think Hayden should play more. I think he would be a great asset if he played full time not only on offense but defense, kick off, kick off return, punt, punt return. And he's fast enough that I think during timeouts he could run and get the water bottles for the team. (FOR THE TEAM) Give everyone a drink and then get the bottles back to the sidelines. Then get back out on the field and RUN that ball. Now that is a complete player. Maybe you could surprise him with this say about the third game into the playoffs. All of us over here in eastern Ky think it would be an honor to play against him each and every play. Having him just play offense is just a waste of good talent. We hope to see this happen personally in a few weeks. DON'T DISAPPOINT US!! Also during warmups you could have him get really loose by running 50 yard dashes. Say about 10 would be good. I would say 100 yards but the other team may be out on the field. They may think he's showing off!!

Impressive win for LCA. Combine this win with tonight's losses by Mayfield and Beechwood and LCA is looking like the most sure choice for a state title after Highlands.

If these stats are correct, it is also amazing that Lucas Witt has only attempted 148 passes in 10 games. I was under the impression that LCA throw a lot more than this with them playing the Tony Franklin system. Is this correct?

 

If my memory serves me, Brian Brohm of Trinity threw for 47 touchdowns and just 1 interception during his junior season. Also amazing!

I will answer my own question. It is accurate that Lucas Witt has only attempted 148 passes this season.

The Stats ARE correct as I am the LCA STATS guy and have been for 10 years since we started the Football program here at LCA.

 

The LCA Passing portion of the Offense is a Quick Strike program and so you can imagine they move the ball down the field quickly and with a strong running attack revert to the Run when you are in the redzone.

LCA has had 371 Rush attempts versus 160 Passing Attempts after 10 games this season. Time Of Possession is LCA-281 mins versus Opp-318 mins.
