I'm sitting 4-3 in 4th place with the 3rd most points so I like my position. I like this team for a 12 team league a lot. Ronnie brown and CJ should be great the entire year while DeSaun and Fitz is very solid for a 12 team format. Your flex option is something that should be fine with either Portis or a spot WR start. I don't think Baltimore defense has much hope this year looking at the rest of the schedule so they aren't very important IMO to your team. Obviously Rodgers will be fine with maybe Romo as a matchup replacement. You should be fine for playoffs just say some prayers when it comes to that time.

October 28, 200916 yr Potential trade offer that I am pondering: I have Deshaun Jackson and I was offered Chad Ochocinco straight up for him. Jackson has weeks that are great but he is so up and down right now that I am not 100% sure that Ochocinco won't help me more with consistency in the long run.

Ocho will end better than DeSaun but DeSaun will have those weeks that'll make you cringe that you traded him. Boom or Bust = DeSaun. Ocho is solid though.

What irritates me is that I could have had him pre-season in a trade that would have been horribly unfair to the guy that offered it. He offered him to me for T.O......WHY DIDN'T I DO THAT!!!!??!? Oh it irks me to no end.

He offered him to me for T.O......WHY DIDN'T I DO THAT!!!!??!? Oh it irks me to no end. It happens a lot. I was offered a couple trades this year I wish I would have taken. At one point someone offered me Thomas Jones and Sims-Walker for Kevin Walter and Clinton Portis. I ended up getting Sims-Walker in waivers in like 2 or 3 and I still have Portis.
October 28, 200916 yr In a PPR league I take 85 over Jackson. Chad has never been a TD guy but I think he will get around 10 this season. In a non PPR league it's a toss up.

It depends on whether you want consistent production, or whether you want monster days and can endure a few bad ones to get it. Ocho has been rock solid this year...9-15-5-14-7-10-23...that's his week by week scoring line. Jacksons is...4-17-20-0-9-25...bigger scoring days, but more inconsistency. Ochocinco 9.1 Targets/Game 5.6 Receptions/Game 81.9 Yards/Game (14.7 ypc) 5 TD Jackson 7.7 Targets/Game 3.5 Receptions/Game 70.5 Yards/Game (20.1 ypc) 3 TD With Jackson though, you always have the possiblity of a return or a rushing TD. I could see it either way, but personally, I like Ochocinco better. His history shows that when he's healthy and his QB is healthy, he's good for 1300 yards and 7-8 TD's at a minimum.

October 28, 200916 yr Can only play one. I was just making sure Rivers was who you intended... Is Andre Johnson playing? If he isn't, then I'd definitely go with Rivers. Both guys are facing defenses that statistically are bad against the run and strong against the pass. I believe they aren't that great against the pass either, but their run D is so bad, teams don't have to throw. Regardless, Jake Delhomme threw for 300+ against Buffalo last week. Oakland does have some talented corners. This one isn't an easy call, but I'd probably go with Schaub if Andre Johnson is OK. Schaub has been on fire. The Chargers are at home, so Rivers might be a safer play. I wouldn't fault either choice, but I'd play Schaub (contingent on AJ's status).

October 28, 200916 yr Chicago. No question. Any respectable defense facing Cleveland must be started, unless you have a similar matchup with your alternative. I don't see it here...the Dolphins and Jets have decent offenses that can be really good on any given week.
