YES Boyd Co has a real good QB in Arthur but know line to block. Every team they have played is in his face. BlLTZ, BLITZ, BLITZ that's all he sees. This could be a good game, but I don't think so. Just wondering if BC should go to the Gun for the whole game. This just might be the ticket to stay close and just might be able to score. Ashland has SPEED, SPEED on both sides of the ball and we all know Ashland will score alot. :confused:

 

Good to hear from you again sunnyday. I don't think Ashland will blow Boyd out like some think. Boyd has lost 7 games by an avg. of 12.5 ppg. Thats not getting blowed out. And they have played some very good teams. I do think the lions will lose by 20+. But I think it will take all 4 qtrs for the tomcats to get there. I hope your GS has a good game. :thumb:

Thats to bad. I remember some really good games starting back in the 70's when Boyd Co had Rob Chaney and Terry Kelin and others. And they had a very good coach in Tom Scott.:cry:

Ashland will win easy but it won't be a sky high differential unless the JV Tomcats are on a roll. With the playoffs looming next week, I can't imagine the coaching staff leaving the starter's out there much after the game is decided. Can't afford injuries at this juncture. I speak from experience on this one. Raceland could have won by larger numbers in almost every game last year but pulled back and protected the starters. We had one injury to a starter (high ankle sprain) all year. Carver had 7 carries in the last 3 games and Denton had 5, I believe, minus the Russell game prior to the playoff game against Fairview.

I'm interested. Me and Little Ram may even venture out for this one. I look for Ashland to have a big game.

I think Boyd Co. is very talented team for some reason they are not playing there best ball right now. Maybe some close loses they had in the early part of the season had something to do with that.

The rivalry keeps it close for a half, but the Tomcats are too strong.

This will be a good game. If Boyd Co. cannot muster up enough pride it will not be pretty. That said, BC can win this game, they have to play hard the whole game and minimize the mistakes. Go big red!!!

I’m with those who think this game will be closer than expected. Boyd has been known to play opponents well when they are notable underdogs.

 

Add the diming relevance of this game as a rivalry, home field advantage; being coached by a former Tomcat…this one could go undecided until late in the game.

Tomcats must show up and play BAD CAT football every play or we might have a fight on our hands to get a win.

Tomcats cannot over look the Lions they will be sky high.
