Gosh is this a ram post or what? I see a bunch of orange post on here and very few Greenup or Mason. But I think the only moral problems the kids have is when they read what adults from other teams write about them good and bad. And your right kids will be kids they fight one day and are friends the next, Unless someone with a sour taste in their mouth keeps it stirred up! But thats just my opinion!

I agree! The team is fired up. We had a great Defensive practice on Tuesday. I am sure the seniors will want to leave everything they have on the Field Friday night, their last time on the home field!

We have been playing againt these kids through JFL. So we know most of them. So some of us are compelled to say what we think. I know you always say what is on you mind.

GCHS is Mason's home, I know for a fact he has wanted to play at GCHS his entire life and we are glad he is back, the team is glad he is back, I do know this as well.

 

The morale is better now than it has been all season, we had a little blow up last week but look what happened on Friday night, sometimes it takes a few of the leaders to step up and loose it to get the rest of the team focused.

 

These kids have been through one heck of a season and I don't see them laying down for anyone, over summer they enjoyed thier time with the Bell County team at camp, they know this team and they are up to the challenge next week but first thing first and that is to try and knock off a very good Mason County team, well coached, great athletes but if we play with the heart we played with on Friday and during the Rowan County game's first 3 quarters, we can beat anybody.

 

We will have everybody ready for Friday night, Doc does a great job with our kids and Amy is a great trainer, we are very fortunate to have them both in our corner.

Good Luck GCHS. I remember last years senior night when my last son played for GCHS, it was very emotional for all of us. I won't be there I have to chair an Eagle Board of Review for a Boy Scout in Flatwoods but as soon as it is over I will be on my radio rooting for "my" Musketeers.

I love you seniors, it has been fun watching you grow and play.

Juniors it's not too early to decide on your Senior Flag.

Yes that includes me also, Greenup needs to keep focused on the task at hand! Good luck Greenup I believe you can suprise Mason County and walk away with a win.

GC needs to take a page out of West Carter's and Fleming County's playbooks. Ball control, milk the clock, play keepaway. And Mason County beat each of those squads by 2 TDs.

 

It's a cliche, but win the turnover battle, play field position, etc.

Talked with a couple of MC players. Tonight they have the opportunity to become the first undefeated regular season team in school history. There's only one first time and they're rarin' to go.
