I hear the Oakland ,Tn. game last week took it's toll on Christian Co.

 

Christian Co. is expected to be without:

QB Alex Davie for 2 weeks

WR/LB Bubba Tandy out indefinitely

MLB J.P. Finley out for the year with a broken collarbone

MLB Willie Trawick who is Finley's backup is also out

Oakland, TN is a beast of a team, not surprised they left a few marks on the Colonels.

 

Fort Campbell handled CC in the FC Jamboree back in August, 21-0 in only one-half of football. The only thing that prevented FC from scoring more that night was it was only a one-half event.

 

The injury report on the Colonels almost puts this one out of reach against Boyle. Maybe the long bus ride and a slippery Stadium of Champions slows down the Rebels; I doubt it.

Christian County will have a hard time moving the ball on Boyle County. The injuries is definitely hurtful for Christian County and I believe Boyle County takes full advantage of that. Boyle County will win this game by 3-4 TD's. :sssh:

That said, it would play directly into Boyle's strength, run defense. :thumb:

I think Boyle wins big. Seems like too many injuries and I don't think they'd run the ball on us regardless.

I think this game gets blown open in our favorite quarter. The 2nd quarter. We may start a little slow after the long ride, but by quarter 2, I'll be hearing on the radio how Rees has surpassed 2,000 yards for the season.:dancingpa

That's why I was asking!

 

Since Christian County is indeed a running team then I'm going to have to believe that they will struggle to move that ball. The Rebels defense is forreal, especially the rush defense! There aren't but a couple of teams, if any, that could probably run(successfully) on Boyle County this year. Have a safe trip boys and leave it all out on the field! :thumb: :ylsuper:

As for the first part. According to the article I posted above, Christian County is averaging 176 rushing yards per game and if my math is right, 66 passing yards per game.

 

I agree with the second part of the quoted above. Boyle County is most definitely known for their intense rush defense and it is indeed their strength. If you cannot move the ball through the air successfully then I'm forced to believe that you just can't beat the Rebels! It sounds to me like the Christian County quarterback likes to scramble alot and try to use his legs more than his arms. A one-dimesonal team will not be successful against Boyle County.
