Chad Ochocinco interview

Featured Replies

It all comes down to how the Bengals are doing. If the Bengals are just doing so-so like they were in 2007 people will start to turn on him again, and say just shut up Chad. When the Bengals are winning though, most people seem to love him and say its just Chad being Chad. People just need to realize Chad wants attention, he loves it. However just because he loves attention doesn't mean he doesn't want to win. Except for last season, he always comes in every season ready to play, and produces.

Herein is the problem and when people began turning on Chad. Ocho has admitted (paraphrasing here) that he was not the best of teammates, injury or not.

Do a lot of Bengal fans still dislike this guy?

I didn't like him at one point, but I have changed that opinion. He's great...

I don't think so, besides he didn't say anything about the owners/organization that wasn't true.

Not true a lot of people started turning on Chad in 2007. That was one of the things Chad even mentioned a few times during his little 2008 off season trade rant. When the Bengals struggled some in 2007, you started hearing people saying stuff about Chad even though he was just doing the same things he always had. So a lot of it started before 2008, but how he acted after that just gave a lot of those people some more stuff to say about it. People in 2007 were more worried about him wanting attention, than realizing he still played very hard and was producing. That is all that really matters.

My favorite Chad was the one that wasn't a big name but went out and made plays for the team. When he started making in about himself and not the team that is when I felt like his act got old. Then he didn't produce on the field but still made it about him. Now things are good and he is doing nice things. To me your character is defined when times are tough. How do you react then? That's what makes you IMO.

Les, you pot-stirrer, you!!:D

Thank you very much.

While I am not a Bengals fan, I would like to see Chad bring back the Riverdance celebration. One of my favorites ever!

Les does love to stir the pot and this time, it got him a very high profile interview. Nice job my man!!! :thumb:

He may be a pot-stirrer, but he seemed pretty nervous when Ocho called in. Didn't really take him to task live and in person, can't say I blame him.
