By the time it's all said and done Brees will be one of the best to ever play. The guy is pinpoint accurate. Did anyone else see the Sports Science piece about him on FoxSN? He was more accurate than a world class archer, he went 10 for 10 on hitting the bullseye.

Any Giants fans have any comments on this one? Are the Saints really that good? I was travelling all day and I'm not sure what happened.

The Saints made the G men look like their practice squad. Domination from start to finish.

Drew Brees is solid and he really makes the Saints a fun team to watch.

I thought the Saints, Vikings and Philly were probably the two best teams in the NFC. No doubt the Saints are number one now. This team reminds me a lot of Peyton Mannings Colts when he finally got a defense. I've said all along that Brees is as good as there is in the league. He gets knows where he is going with the ball and gets rid of it so quick that the Saints aren't going anywhere unless he goes down IMO. Bell back with Thomas gives them a little run game too. IMO they are just a better team than the Giants who I think is probably somewhere in the 2-5 range in the NFC.

I think back to the Monday night game when the Cowboys physically whipped the Giants but lost the game...I think the Saints did the same thing today, but they were good enough to drive it home.

 

I heard an announcer suggest that the Saints should move Reggie Bush to WR. I wonder if they'd consider that. It's obvious at this point that he's not a RB...Thomas and Bell are the guys for that job. Right now, Bush is still a RB who plays some WR...I think they should consider converting him to a WR who can run the ball on occasion. Bush is a talent. Imagine how good this offense could be if they started getting him involved more effectively. The good news for New Orleans is that they're so good, Bush is like an extra toy to play with. They don't even need him.

 

This team is really good. And, the Giants defense, as of now, needs to get better.

Lord, I hope not. The Saints, fine, but I'm sick of the Pats and the Brady overexposure.
