October 11, 200916 yr It's getting to the point where when the Bengals are driving for the go ahead score, I'm feeling it. What a way to go into Baltimore and make a statement. This isn't luck, this team is focused and do just enough to get it done. I love the defensive attitude, they are playing so aggressive, and that's a change from the past. The '05 defense was built on getting turnovers and that was a springboard. This year's defensive unit is so solid, I only wish that Tank was healthy but his diagnosis doesn't look good, and he's key to the pass rush from the NT position. Overall, 4-1 with wins over Pittsburgh, Baltimore and the Browns, solid. The Jungle should be rumbling next week.

Les, I'm a lifelong Bengals fan & season ticket holder, so put your gun away. The Bengals played very well, particularly the defense. But the Ravens made a lot of dumb plays late in the game that allowed the Bengals to stay in it. Multiple illegal contact plays and at least one, maybe two, stupid personal fouls. The Bengals caught a few breaks today and they won the game, which is all that matters. A win is a win, and the Bengals sit atop the AFC North. IT FEELS GOOD!

Henry got tripped up at the 5 and we have to settle for a FG. Those are the ones that stick out. St. Louis bad snap on FG.

I'd attribute that to Baltimore and Ed Reed more than Carson's mistake. Ray Rice had a great run after his catch for a TD. We missed a tackle, but that was more due to Rice's efforts than our mishaps. St. Louis made a bad snap that cost us 3 points. Part of that could be attributed to Graham, too. St. Louis made another bad snap that didn't hurt us because Baltimore committed some type of penalty on the PAT. That allowed us to take the lead by 3. OchoCinco made a nice catch but didn't take care of the football late in the 2nd quarter. Reed popped it out & Baltimore recovered it. That cost us an opportunity to get AT LEAST a FG. I think it was about 1:30 left in the 2nd quarter. Baltimore had a lot of dumb penalties late that really hurt them. The Bengals didn't make many dumb plays, to keep the Ravens in it. It was a nice change of pace. :lol: Cedric Benson is THE MAN.
October 11, 200916 yr Bengals also kept Baltimore in it as well. Missed field goal attempt. Bad penalties. Missed tackle that led to a touchdown and an interception that led to a touchdown. Hmmmm ... that equals all 14 points that Baltimore scored. It goes both ways.

Heck, his best play was the play against GB where he fumbled the ball forward for a 1st down. :lol: It kills me that Marvin Lewis doesn't like Chris Henry, so he won't play him. Henry changes the game every time he's on the field.
