These rankings don't mean anything. I have seen all of these kids play, they are good athletes. Rankings are opinions, everyone has them. I believe Hatton is way underated on this particular ranking. He has played against all of these boys ranked higher than him, and most times than not, he has had the upper hand IMO. I have seen several other sites having these same boys ranked in different order, and I believe most of those sites have Brandon Hatton ranked in the wrong graduation year. Most of them have him under 2013, not 2014. However like I said before these don't mean anything. They are people's opinion. I got on the Jr. All American Camp Website, by invitee only where Hatton was ranked 12th. He made the All American Team but he couldn't play in the game b/c he was previously committed to playing at the 8th grade Nationals. These are suppose to be the elite of the elite playing at these camps. I believe we will see where all these boys stand over the next couple of years.

First of all, let me start by saying that I love Brandon Hatton's game. He is one heck of a player. I certainly haven't seen all the top players in the nation, so I would have no idea where he ranks. But, for the record, none of the four players (Snider, Davis, Cunningham and Portwood) listed ahead of Brandon from KY even played in the AAU Nationals in Memphis this past summer so it would be hard to say just because of that success he needs to be higher.

Who is the Cunningham kid and where did he play ?

Cunningham played JV and varsity at Sayre last year. He is at Scott County now, attending Scott County Middle School. But, I hear he will be playing up, but only the coaches know the validity of that. I know one thing, if him and Portwood (who is also at Scott Middle) ever step on the court together in 8th grade, they would be awfully tough to beat. But, I am not sure that will happen.

All 5 named are super players but I would agree that today Hatton is the best player. I have seen all 5 play numerous times but I haven't seen any of them in the past 3-4 months. Like one poster said, it really doesn't matter today...if they are ranked that high as juniors and sophomores then we really have something to talk about. I believe all 5 would be top 100 players at this time...lets hope they are in 2-3 years. Good luck to all!

There are some very good players not listed who have played with or against the top five listed and have performed extremely well.

I think that Afi100guy's triplet boys should be in the Top Ten in the Embryo class.

This stuff is total drivel from a very narrow window of exposure.

Let's see what the list looks like when these guys are juniors and seniors, and who's on it and who's not.

Is somebody getting paid to do this????

What are we coming to??? :ohbrother:

Larry Morton is at Lex Cath and not eligible this year.

Really? Why is he not eligible? He is a freshman in high school. I've heard rumors about him being all over the place.

Most of all these players on the list has received letter from D1 D2 and NAIA Schools with some intersest in the them for the future...Some has already taken unoffical visit... It's not just some one getting paid to post this list of players. Some one from a school that have been touch with them...because they seen some thing they liked while seeing them play over the summer and want to watch how the develope over the next 2 to 3 years...

Quit being a hater...

He played at Bryan Station Middle School as a 7th grader. As an 8th grader, last year, he played at Dunbar High School. I couldn't even tell you where he's going this year.

So if he ends up at Lex Cath are you going to tell me he is going there for a Catholic education when he has been at 2 different public schools the past two years?

I hope he doesn't get caught up in having handlers or an entourage or whatever and get caught up with having sleezy AAU coaches around him (not all are sleezy, just some) who are getting involved in him for the wrong reason and giving him bad advice.

What does this have to do with the kid being at Catholic? Catholic is a high school, not an AAU program.

I wasn't talking about LexCah necessarily. I was talking about being at a different school every year. I am not accusing LexCath of doing anything wrong. I just hope he doesn't have the wrong people persuading him to go to all these different schools every year.
