So that looks like Henry Clay should beat GRC by about 50, right? Or GRC loses to Bryan Station 56-24 and then Bryan Station loses to Henry Clay 27-6. But GRC beats Henry Clay. So much for comparing scores.

 

Agreed, each game is different, including conditions. Both of HC's losses have come in soggy conditions, is that correct?

Also GRC beat Lafayette 13-10 and Lafayette beat Henry Clay 12-9.

 

Righ now GRC and Tates Creek are leading the district with wins tonight. Madison Central and Henry Clay both lost.

 

GRC plays Tates Creek at home this coming week.

The Cardinals, winless in their first three road games of the year, opened district play with a 12-6 upset over the Blue Divels. Clark, which won its homecoming with a 35-30 victory over Corbin last week, spoiled a similar celebration by the hosts.

The win was Clark’s first over the Blue Devils since 1995, ending a 14-year drought.

:lol: Thanks, it was a huge win. Our record is deceiving, very tuff schedule. Wins over Montgomery Co, Lafayette, Corbin and Henry Clay.Losses to Bryan Station, Dunbar and Scott Co. Now got to beat Tates Creek this week, to hopefully win our district.

I think every time I feel like a season is a wash I am made to eat crow!chomp chomp (spits feathers!). Good win by a gutsy GRC team. A lot of these kids are tough as nails....Mason Jones is one tough kid! :clap:

Congrats GRC! I had a feeling that after GRC proved themselves last week against Corbin, that they would knock off the Blue Devils. Im taking nothing away from HC but I watched them earlier in the year and didn't think they were as good as Corbin. They have a lot of numbers but I truthfully just wasn't impressed. Again, Congrats to GRC and best wishes to both teams this season.
