I put this in the general discussion thread because it can be any HS sport male or female. I just put it here as a reference for some of us. I have a lot of fun "catching up" on where some of these players are and how they are doing. Anyone in the know on any player asked about can contribute and anyone can ask about a player they are interested in. The two players I am wondering about right now are:

Zach Kiernan (NCC) last I heard he was going to UL and I haven't heard anything since

Nieco Tiepel (B-Wood) last I heard he had walked on to UL, but has a shoulder injury.

Vince Murray I'm not sure if you all remember him from Ryle but he is graduating from Navy soon and correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure he starts at FB.

I don't know if he starts, but he does see some solid action. He has 41 carries for 145 yards on the year.

In his last game he carried it 22 times for 67 yards in a win over Air Force.

Pretty sure he graduated from William and Mary with a degree in a science field.

Clyde is correct.

I believe Jeff will be attending Medical school soon, if he's not in it already.

Jeff had a scholarship offer to play QB from Wake Forest didn't he? Does anyone know if he regrets at all about playing baseball instead of going to Wake Forest or somewhere for football? He was a great athlete and was great at both sports, so something like that would be hard to choose which to play.

I talked to his ole baseball coach last nite and he said he is waiting on medical school. I will asked him if he ever said he missed the opportunity to play football. He was a very special young man who I enjoyed watching play both football and baseball. JD
