Didn't the same thing happen last season? I seem to recall an article in which Sam Harp said losing was one thing, but quitting, especially against a rival, was another.

 

You are correct, it did. And to think it was just 3 years ago they played in the state title game. Who knows, maybe someday the glory will return.

I do not condone vandalizing personal property in any way. I do remember some of things that went on before the games like kids vandalizing schools, spray painting, vandalizing the anchor at Danville. Most of it in good fun as long as is doesn't go too far.

Its a special environment that week in Danville before that game.

For the record, I did NOT press charges.

I was trying to get into the discussion but someone just busted a bottle in my driveway and then went around screaming at everyone in our neighborhood. They actually had a person hanging on the back of an SUV (outside) while it was going about 50 MPH down our subdivision road.

Great game for the Rebels. Danville played Boyle hard the 1st Q. or so then Boyle started to play.

Thanks for the stats. Slow start but finished strong. Good job Rebels. You know, I was looking at my program last night and realized since 1999 Boyle County has won 125 and lost 20, went to 6 consecutive State Championship games and won 5 of those.. 13 of the losses were in 2 seasos under Chris Pardue. That's pretty impressive.

 

That makes 8 out of the last 11 over the Ads, and to think we went 17 consecutive years without beating them. Don't hang your heads Ads, I see a much brighter future. You guys are just really young, and you ran into a buzz saw tonight.

 

We got Lafayette next week for Homecoming. Go BC !!!!!!!!!!

Come on DHS fans get behind this young team. They are having lots of growing pains but I see talent there. It's got to be disheartening for them to see the stands so empty.

 

Boyle had so much experience coming back this season. Next year the young DHS team will have a year of growing under their belts.
