X is 3 TD's better than Elder

 

If X beats Elder in 2 weeks, it won't be by 3 TDs. There is too much familiarity and pride b/n the 2.

I've been saying this for two weeks. Elder is going to get beat by X and it might not be close. Like I said, there are probably 10 teams better than Elder within a 500 mile radius of Cincy. St. Xavier is definitely one of them.

 

The Bombers are playing at a different level right now. The completely destroyed Trinity last nights. All reserve and 2nd teamers in the second half.

 

Best of luck on the rest of your season X and T. And Don't worry, the Bluebirds are going to get their's next week, you won't be in the boat alone.

I will second that. Very impressive . Hats off to X - classy. They called off the dogs early. It could have easily been much much worse. Don't think it was the most first half points against a Beatty coached Team - could have been more first half points AGAINST ANY T TEAM -EVER. !!!!

 

NOt sure if we learned anything at all last night or not. Too painful.

Never said we did not believe you - we just had to go up there and find out for ourselves. And we did. If T & X - are the best here -then they surely handled what we both had to offer. Us even more handedly than you.

 

Maybe some years we can compete - and defeat. And have done so in the past. This year was not one of those.

 

Glad that's over. All part of the learning process. In the long run I have no doubt that it will help our Program.

That's a comfort. Saw H in the opener against M. I know it was the first game. Not impressive. I am sure they have come a long way since then.

 

Cincy X is an entirely different breed of cat. I will be shocked if they do not receive the same fate as us.

What more can be said. Just a good old-fashioned whippin' in the truest sense of the word. All the credit goes to Cincy X - no excuses. One heck of a ball club.

 

Apparently not going to be "our year." - It happens. Maybe the team will come together - still remains to be seen. But Friday night - was boys playing men.

 

Will be real interesting to see how H does. I do not see them doing much better.

Trinity's 2nd team played more inspired than the 1st group. It appears to me that my hope after the loss to Lawrence North, that the seniors would be part of the solution and not the problem, is not happening. I hope the coaching staff nips the poor attitudes and poor leadership of the senior class in the bud before this next game. Otherwise, 1 and 4 is a certainty with 1 and 5 to follow. I'm never in favor of shelving kids, but poor attitudes and finger pointing can not be tolerated no matter who it is. For the sake of the program bad apples need to go.
