September 8, 200917 yr Miami, FSU, Tech, VPI, and UNC will carry the ACC this year. I mocked them in a thread earlier, but it is a better conference this year and will be with Miami and FSU on their way back up.
September 8, 200917 yr Great game for Miami, I watched the game with a Canes fan tonight and he was happy one minute and furious the next, one of the best games you'll see this year no doubt. September 8, 200917 yr That is two of the worst secondarys I've seen play in a long long time! I realize there is a lot of speed at WR but there is at DB too. FSU absolutly blew that game! Maybe the worst clock management I've seen in a long time! FSU also shot themselves in the foot with the play calling. They got in the pistol and ran 2 straight plays for around 20 yds then went to the offset I and got only a couple of yards. Should have either run the zone again or booted off of it the series before. Didn't like the load option play at all either with 23 secs left. Miami's secondary (FSU's too) was soft serve all game long! Should have taken a couple of shots before they wasted that timeout!
September 8, 200917 yr I also question if you are going to run the ball why you don't spread it out and run the QB draw since it was money all night? They hadn't done anything with the load option! Why didn't the officials look at the clock by the way? I had the game DVR'ed and there is zero doubt there was a 2nd left when the ball hit the ground. I guess because they whistled late.
