No banging the chest here and based on the outcome of BW's previous two games there is "zero" to be cocky about. I think HC is going to come into Ft Mitchell thinking a win is an absolute done-deal.

 

You are correct...HC is more experienced and BW is very banged up. A couple of key player's will sit out this week in preparation for CovCath next week...so the other poster above is correct "the stars are aligned for HC". It would be quite a blow to HC to lose to a young/inexperienced/depleted 1A team

Be realistic Highlands could have scored as much as they wanted? Beechwoods D needs to come ready to play better than they have the previous two games. That being said with the tradition and coaching they have I fully expect that will be the case.

If they had left their first team in They could have scored as many as they wanted. Well if they wanted to score more then they would have left the first team in. Only stands to Reason.

As far as not being accurate. You might want to think your post through before you submit it. You stated that they couldn't score any more then turn around and state how they can. No need to all frazzled your Red and White tigers will be one of the top Class A teams in the state before it is all said and done. You have to play the best to be the best and thats what they strive to do.

I guess I took the comment to mean if Highlands wanted to put up 80 or more then they could have and I don't think that is true. The ones were on the field till the later part of Q3 and they put up 41. But I think we are in agreement that Beechwood's defense needs to get a lot better if they want to beat Holy Cross.

The true result of this game for BW will be one of gaining more experience and depth. Coach Rash is taking a very young team and has expertly seasoned them. BW, a1A school, will have faced two 6A, three 5A, and a 2A school before they even hit district play. Inexperienced BW is not inexperienced for long. BW has rarely had its first teams on the field at any given time. When they have, they look good. The amount of players getting time on the field is staggering by BW ironman football standards.

Should be a very close game, the seconds are still slated to get a lot of playing time for BW.

 

When Coach Rash decides to put the throttle down the score could roll up quickly. I would not be surprised if the BW JV teams, playing the traditional 3rd and 4th quarters of games, don’t roll over some teams starters in 1A play.

Come and watch a good game. No one knows anything about either team it is week 2 there is so many corrections being done to each team, this is going to be a great game and I can't wait for it. HC is not Dixie or Highlands your right But Dixie didn't perform against SK like others thought they would do so like I said its week 2 Dixie could of been a strong starter and become a weak finisher. If you want to see a great football game show up at Beechwood on Friday at 7:30.

Its hard to picture Beechwood going 0 - 3. If Holy Cross wins, I'd consider it an upset. Good luck to both.

I think that Holy Cross will pull this one out. I think that Holy Cross is alot better that people give them credit for, but Beechwood is always Beechwood. This game will be close and it will come down to whoever whats it more. I think that Beechwood realizes that the Holy Cross, this year, is not the typical H.C. team. If both teams come out to play this one will be good. Looking forward to a good game.
