I saw Ludlow play this past week and they still got a lot of work to do. Besdies Drew Rice and Stegemoller(sp?), there wasn't much out of any Ludlow players. Taylor, who is average at best manhandled Ludlow's line, other than Rice.

 

Carroll Co. is well coached and very disciplined. They will run and throw all over Ludlow this week. I look for Carroll to blow out the Panthers

Carroll is a tough place to play at and it is going to be hard for Ludlow to pull off a win. I find it interesting that you think Carroll will put up 48 this week though. Have they put up that many points on anyone this year in their two games? Ludlow has a better defense than any of the two teams they have played so far. I believe in Ludlow's two scrimmages and the one game, the starting defense has only gave up a total of 2 touchdowns so far. So Carroll very well could win, but definitely don't think it will be by them putting up 48 points or even close to that IMO. I think it will be a rather low scoring game no matter who wins. I do think Ludlow will play better offensively than they did last week, and will score enough for Ludlow to win this one behind their defense.

It's the last 4 I'm pretty sure. Before that Ludlow was on the 33 game losing streak before beaking it in something like the 3rd game of the season in 2004 on a Hail Mary pass as time expired against Eminence. They lost in week one that year to CC in a tight one at CC's place. Ludlow won in '05, '06, '07, and '08. All have been close games as these two always play a good one!:thumb:

 

Its been the last 5 years '04,'05,'06,'07,'08. Remember the football season is not played in the graduating year, it is played the year before. So the winning streak started with the '05 senior class but was played in 2004. Just a simple common mistake, and I am really bored that is the only reason why I pointed this out. :thumb::ylsuper:

Have to Root for Ludlow! I like the panthers 13-7 . Only because Ludlow's offense is sputtering and I expect the defense to pull off a score to help the cause.

Ludlow lost to a mediocre to average Taylor team. If Taylor could have cut down on some mistakes too, I know they would have scored at least once more. Carroll is a good team and very well coached. With the game being at Carroll, I just think that they will come out ready to play and will run all over Ludlow. Only throwing the ball to keep Ludlow honest on defense.

 

I do not think CC has scored 48 yet this year, but this Friday will be the first time this season that they will! It will a long bus ride home for the 0-2 Panthers!!:thumb:

And let's not forget that Taylor is a mediocre to average CHL team. There are many conferences in Kentucky they would do just fine in.
