goldendomer57 Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Is this Cooper's first win? Either way Congrats Cooper:dancingpa
Fishhead Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 I think they won a couple of times last season. Walton Verona and one of the county schools. (Gallatin?)
LoveTheGame33 Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 A big difference in their second year. Bradley is stud running back that is right up there with the best of Northern Kentucky backs I believed he popped it in the end zone 5 times in 3 quarters, and had some nice protection blocks. Passing game had some good timing routes and the receivers knew how to get up field after the catch. Believe me, it won't be long before they are playing with the best of NK.
gchs_uk9 Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 I think they won a couple of times last season. Walton Verona and one of the county schools. (Gallatin?) Correct. Cooper beat Gallatin County, 21-14 and beat Walton-Verona, 27-24. A big difference in their second year. Believe me, it won't be long before they are playing with the best of NK. You had to believe Cooper would be much improved this season. Without many seniors last year and with everybody on the team a "new" player, it would had to be a struggle. But there's too much talent up there for them not to get good quickly.
Eagle 4 Life Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 From the highlights I saw Coopers running back looks real good.
CooperPride Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Cooper did play well on both sides of the ball....but there are still many things that they need to work on. Offensivley, Cooper was gelling very well, and Bradley (RB) was an absolute stud. Defensively, the Jags only gave up 7 points, and that was on a 4th and long where the DB slipped and fell. One Kickoff return, and one score on the JV Defense. Good effort by Cooper, but the important thing is, be happy, but don't be satisfied; on to Scott!
futurecoach Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Congrats to Cooper and Coach Borchers and staff on an impressive victory. Coach Borchers definitely has things going in the right direction there, and as someone else said. It probably won't be to long until they have Cooper as one of the best teams in the area in a few years.
