It sucks that some people choose to make fun of him just because they don't agree with an assessment of his game. He didn't do anything to warrant the negative criticism he gets.

I do not think Pilgrim received the criticism as much as those that touted him as some sort of specimen.

While I agree that that is who it is pointed towards, it comes across as bashing Matt -- You have to put him down to put them down.

He is a specimen, just not sure how it transfers to the floor.
